Marymede Catholic College is proud to announce that Ajay Jay (Year 11) was recently named as a winner of the prestigious Premier's Spirit of ANZAC Award!

To enter and subsequently be named as a winner of this competition, Ajay was required to write an essay on the experiences of soldiers during World War 1. Ajay will head over to Canberra with other winners from across the State, visiting key World War 1 monuments and memorials.

Ajay's success in 2017 continues a proud tradition for Marymede students in this annual competition, following on from victories by Michael Manoussakis in 2014 and his younger brother James in 2015.

Congratulations Ajay on yet another outstanding achievement!
