In this edition of 'Meet the Teacher' we speak with Ms. Lee Campbell, a member of our College Administration Team.

Name: Lee Campbell – Executive Assistant to the Principal – lee.campbell@marymede.vic.edu.au

What is your role at the College?

Executive Assistant to the Principal – Providing direct administrative assistance to the Principal.

Provide us with a ‘snapshot’ into your daily routine at the College

The great part about my job is that each day provides different challenges and opportunities, and as such, my daily routine is always changing!

Generally however, days will include monitoring the 4 email accounts that I am responsible for, diary management for Mr. Kenny (which is just about a full time job on its own!), preparing correspondence on behalf of the Principal, liaising with staff, parents and students, answering incoming phone calls directed to the Principal's Office, attending meetings to manage agendas and minute taking, welcoming guests to the Principal’s Office and providing additional administrative support as required!

What do you love most about working at Marymede Catholic College?

I love that my role is constantly changing and providing me with new opportunities to learn and grow. No two days in the Principal’s Office are the same which means I am constantly on my toes and need to be ready for anything. I also love being able to engage with many different members of the Marymede Community including staff, parents, visitors and guests. Watching the College grow and develop over the past 5 years has been a privilege and I’m looking forward to being a part of the Marymede Community for many more years to come!

Fast Five:

Favourite Food: Any Indian vegetarian food.

Favourite Movie/TV Show: Love Actually (among a few) / Game of Thrones

Hidden Talent or Something We May Not Know About You: I used to skate at St. Moritz every weekend as a teenager and could complete the perfect ‘Figure 8!’

Favourite Sporting Team/Athlete: The mighty Collingwood Magpies (15 Premierships and counting!)

If You Could Pick Any 3 People as Dinner Guests, Who Would They Be and Why?:

Lennon (My Grandson) - His messy eating habits detract from mine!

Tony – My great friend who recently passed away.

Any Family Member – The most treasured dinner guests one can have.
