At Marymede, we know starting school is a big milestone for children and families. Our Prep program combines strong academic foundations with a warm, nurturing environment where every child is supported to feel confident, calm, and ready to learn.

Prep Open House Afternoons

If you are curious to see how our Prep Program could be just the right fit for your child, we invite your family to attend one of our relaxed and interactive Prep Open House Afternoons.

These events are designed for you and your 2027 Prep child to explore our learning spaces and meet our dedicated and experienced teachers. You will also find information about the enrolment process and key dates.

We highly recommend that parents and guardians attend with just their Prep child for valuable one-on-one time. If siblings must attend, please note they must be supervised at all times within the Prep to Year 2 Precinct.

• Visit our Prep classrooms, each set up with a different interactive activity station for you and your child to explore.
• Meet our Prep teachers and see how they create welcoming, engaging spaces for learning. 
• Learn about our programs for early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and wellbeing. 
• See firsthand how we support friendships, confidence, and a smooth start to school life. 
• Chat with staff, ask questions, and get practical tips for preparing for Prep 2027.
