2026 (20th Anniversary Edition)

Welcome

The Magnificat is an official record of our history that will be seen by not only the current College community, but also future generations of students, parents, and staff. Through images and words, it will tell the story of all our triumphs and achievements, as well as the growth of the school in 2026. Many years from now, we hope that we will look over the yearbook pages with fond and vivid memories of our time at Marymede Catholic College.

Content collection has begun!

The 2026 Magnificat is now open! This year content has been split into two separate due dates to help aid the construction of the book:

Stage One Content Due: Tuesday 4 August, 9.00am 
Stage Two Content Due: Tuesday 27 October, 9.00am

Your page due date will be listed next to you page allocation on the Running Sheet below. 
All content is due no later than Tuesday 27 October, 9.00am. 
The submission link can be found below.

Please note: Content/submissions received after this time risks not being included due to editing restrictions. However, if your allocated page/event is after both due dates and hasn’t been marked on the running sheet in purple, please email Yearbook@marymede.vic.edu.au to arrange a separate deadline for this event only. Extensions will not be given unless there is a special circumstance approved in advance or the event is after the list due date in October.

The production schedule for The Magnificat is set by Ellikon, the publishing company. The schedule highlights key dates that need to be met to ensure an on-time delivery.

 December 2025 
  • Planning for the Magnificat (2026 Edition) begins.
  • Creation of the Flat Plan and Running Sheet starts.
  • Handbook, Webpage and Submission Forms are created and/or updated.
 January - 
 March 2026
  • Flat Plan and Running Sheet is checked and improvements are made/finialised.
 April 2026
  • Principal’s Sign-off.
  • All Finalisations are made, ready for content collection.
  • Draft email is created.
 April - June 2026
  • Quotes received and reviewed.
  • Page designs received and selected.

Content Collection Stage

 Tuesday 21 April 
 2026, 9.00am
  • Yearbook email sent out (along with the link to the Yearbook Website).
  • Collection of Reports & Photos for The Magnificat begins.
  • Report Pro Forma Template must be used.
  • Reports must be proofread and signed.
  • Files must be correctly labelled before submission.
 June 2026
  • All Staff and Student Headshots received from Arthur Reed Photography.
  • Headshots are organised into page folders > Class Groups & Pastoral Groups.
  • Class Lists & Pastoral Lists are collated in Excel.
  • Absence lists are collated in Excel.
  • All Staff and Student Headshots folders are sent to Ellikon for placement once designs are approved.

  • Class/Pastoral Headshot draft pages provided from Ellikon for proofing by Classroom Teachers and House Leaders.

  • Stage One content checked off (All content received from April to July).
  • All Stage Two Reports are proofread again.
  • All Content is then submitted to Ellikon.
  • Ellikon begins constructing Stage Two of The Magnificat.
  • Draft pages of Class/Pastoral Headshot and reviewed and sent back with Stage One content.

  • Ellikon constructs Stage One of The Magnificat.

  • Draft pages of Class/Pastoral Headshot sent back and cross checked.

  • Stage Two content checked off (All content received from August to October).
  • All Stage Two Reports are proofread again.
  • All Content is then submitted to Ellikon.
  • Ellikon begins constructing Stage Two of The Magnificat.

  • Ellikon constructs all remaining Content of The Magnificat.

Final Proofing Stage

  • Final draft of the Magnificat is provided by Ellikon

  • Final draft of the Magnificat signed off

Production Stage

  • Mockup of final draft of The Magnificat is provided by Ellikon for sign-off

  • Approval by PERGD is given for print run to start

Delivery Stage

Both parties, Ellikon and Marymede Catholic College, must be organised to keep the project on track. If files are sent incomplete, incorrectly or out of order, it will slow the  process resulting in delayed delivery.

Pixevety

Alternatively, you can now access our new online shared photo gallery, which contains photos taken throughout the year. The search function allows you to find images using keywords such as "McCormack House", "Class of 2026", or "Athletics Day". 

Please note: to access the photo gallery through Pixevety, you must sign in using your College SSO account. Staff without an SSO account will not be able to access the gallery. This program still being rolled out, with more information on its functionality to come shortly.

Please feel free to download and use any photos you require from either source. However, please be mindful of duplicate images that may already appear elsewhere in the publication.

If you have photos that you would like to share with others and they are not already included in the gallery, please upload them to the appropriate existing folder. To help keep the gallery organised, please do not create a new album or folder if one already exists for that event or activity.

IMPORTANT: Uploads are strictly per page only for formatting purposes. Please submit each page individually and click 'submit another response' to upload additional pages.

Please make sure all photos are correctly labelled as per the Magnificat Style Guide.
